At Horner Family Eyecare, the individualized, one-on-one attention that our staff extends to each patient distinctly sets us apart in the field. Since the year 2003, we have been serving Woodbury, MN with the highest level of eye care. Your eye health is of great importance to us!

We also specialize in bifocal contact lens fittings and can help you with difficult to fit contact lenses as well. Meet Your Doctors

Dr. John P. Horner, O.D.

Dr. Horner has been practicing optometry for over 35 years. He is a native of North Dakota and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1986. Dr. Horner has expertise in many areas including all types of contact lenses, LASIK evaluation, ocular disease, and general care. Dr. Horner has lived in Woodbury with his wife since 1991. His three children and eight grandchildren also reside in the Woodbury area.

Dr. Samuel Horner, O.D.

Dr. Samuel Horner is a distinguished optometrist, academic, and entrepreneur. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree, Cum Laude, from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2023. His clinical experience includes comprehensive patient care at Associated Eye Care, the Chalmers P. Wylie Veterans Outpatient Clinic, and The Optometry Clinic at The Ohio State University. Dr. Horner led the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists and has contributed to the field through his published research. A recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, Dr. Horner brings together his passion for patient care, leadership skills, and academic achievements to deliver exceptional optometric services.
